St. Nicholas prepares preschoolers to succeed in school and in life. Our five-day/full-day program offers a comprehensive curriculum that fosters social, academic and religious development. Children engage in pre-reading and writing activities through various learning centers, including art, block play, dramatic play, writing, reading, games and puzzles, science, and math.
Our preschool program is designed to provide a smooth transition from home to school. Preschool teachers keep parents well informed about their child’s educational, emotional, and social development. We always welcome parents into the classroom and on field trips to share their expertise and enthusiasm.
STEAM is offered to all students! Weekly visits to the STEAM Lab allow students to think critically and have an engineering or design approach towards real-world problems while building on their math and science base. STEAM programs add art to STEM curriculum by drawing and encouraging creative solutions. We are teaching our students at a young age to be innovative problem solvers.
