We are very excited to share that our 7th and 8th graders have been asked to participate in the Big Shoulders Fund Stock Market Program this year!
This program will bring financial professionals to SNCS to work with our students to learn about the stock markets, savings, and other important terms to make our students financially literate. In addition, our students are being given $3,000 to invest into the actual stock market! The financial professionals will work with our students to invest wisely and track the progress of their stock throughout the year. At the end of the year, if their stock does well, each student will receive a 1% management fee, and the remainder of the profit will be used to fund an end of year fun field trip. Our students are thrilled about this program and we are so grateful to Big Shoulders Fund for inviting our students to be a part of such an exciting and interactive learning experience!
