Congratulations to the St. Nicholas Cathedral School Class of 2016!

A long journey is coming to an end for the six members of the graduating class of St. Nicholas Cathedral School. As they close this chapter of their lives, and move onto their next steps in their educational careers, they would like to take a moment and share their successes and where they will attend high school.  We are very proud of their accomplishments and wish them lots of luck in all of their future endeavors. We know that they will carry all that they have learned at St. Nicholas with them throughout their lives.

The Class of 2016 has been accepted at the following schools:

• Josephinum Academy
• Lane Tech College Prep
• Lindbolm College Prep
• Northside College Prep
• St. Ignatius College Prep
• Walter Payton College Prep

The Class of 2016 is also proud to share that they have four Daniel Murphy Scholarship recipients among them. This prestigious award provides four-year scholarships to the high school of their choice, in addition to a variety of educational supports that range from service trips that will take them around the world to college counseling that will begin over this upcoming summer break.  Scholarship recipients are chosen for their outstanding academic achievement, leadership skills, strong character and perseverance through a rigorous multi step application process.  This year, over 900 students applied for this scholarship, and only 132 students received this award representing 84 different schools. We are incredibly proud that four of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship recipients are members of the St. Nicholas Cathedral School Class of 2016.

Congratulations to the members of the SNCS graduating Class of 2016:
