Our teachers had a busy day of learning new ways to help their students on their path of becoming lifelong learners.
The morning was spent planning for our exciting STEAM program that is currently being implemented school-wide, and Mrs. Motria Melnyk coached teachers on some new strategies to try in the classroom.
In the afternoon, alumni Dr. Maria Hrycelak trained our staff on how to best help students that may need any sort of medical attention. Afterwards, our neighborhood CPD officers trained the staff on what to do in the case of a lockdown emergency.
Thank you to all that took time out of their Friday to partake in our. Everyone learned a great deal of information. We look forward to seeing all of our students on Monday!
